CM Punk's lackluster MMA debut earned him quite the consolation prize.

Punk made $500,000 for his first cage fight at UFC 203 on Saturday. His first bout in the Octagon ended with him tapping to a Mickey Gall rear-naked choke, and lasted just north of two minutes.

The former WWE superstar was just one of six fighters on the card to earn a payday of six figures. Main-eventers Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem made $600,000 and $800,000, respectively, for their heavyweight title bout. Miocic successfully defended the belt with a first-round knockout, but was not awarded a win bonus.

Fabricio Werdum, who handily bested Travis Browne in the co-main event, made $375,000 - $125,000 of which came as a win bonus. Browne, who sustained a broken finger early in the fight, received $120,000 for his efforts.

Bantamweight stalwart Urijah Faber netted $160,000 for his main-card meeting with Jimmie Rivera. He lost the fight by unanimous decision.
