The news is in regarding Arturo Vidal, and the prognosis isn't good.

Juventus confirmed their star midfielder suffered a thigh injury during Chile's friendly versus Mexico on Saturday.

"After sitting out yesterday’s training in Vinovo, Arturo Vidal today underwent medical tests which revealed a light strain of the semitendinosus muscle in his right thigh," said the team in an official statement.

"The 27-year-old has immediately begun his rehabilitation programme and further examinations to monitor his progress are scheduled for next week."

With more tests slated for next week, it's likely Vidal will miss Juve's Serie fixture against Udinese, as well as their Champions League match versus Malmo.

Football Italia suggests Vidal could miss up to three weeks, according to unverified reports, but it's certain the Chilean international will be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks.
