The International duo were lights out from the jump with a remarkable 5-under 30 in the alternate-shot format, good to sit 5-up heading to the back nine. They did not slow down on the closing stretch, continuing their relentless push with birdies on 10, 11, and 12 to close the match before the 13th hole.

It's one of the most impressive foursomes performances in team golf history, with the duo finishing an absurd 8-under in 12 holes of action.

The setback is the latest in a trend for the Cantlay-Schauffele partnership after a red-hot start to their team careers. They ripped off a perfect 5-0 record in foursomes action initially but have now lost their last three matches in the format.
