Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be among those competing in the upcoming PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Woods returned at The Masters last month after recovering from injuries he sustained in a February 2021 car accident.

Tiger played a practice round at Southern Hills in late April. The 15-time major champion walked all 18 holes of the course after previously stating doing so was the hardest part of playing post-injury.

The 46-year-old won the PGA Championship when it was last held at Southern Hills in 2007.

Mickelson is the defending champion of the event, having prevailed by two strokes over Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen last year.

Phil, who'll turn 52 in June, has been away from golf since making controversial comments about the PGA TOUR and the Saudi-backed Super Golf League in February.

The PGA Championship begins May 19.
