Cantlay in 4-way tie atop Shriners Hospitals Open after Round 2

Patrick Cantlay fired a 7-under 64 in Round 2 on Friday to grab his share of a four-way tie atop the crowded leaderboard at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Kevin Na, Lucas Glover, and Brian Stuard also sit at 12-under par with Cantlay through 36 holes at TPC Summerlin.

Cantlay is continuing his dominance of the Las Vegas venue. He won the Shriners in 2017 and was the runner-up last season.

Na shot a 9-under 62 on Friday to grab his share of the lead. He played his final six holes at 6-under, a run that included two eagles.

Notables Collin Morikawa (9-under), Webb Simpson (9-under), Adam Scott (9-under), Phil Mickelson (8-under), and Gary Woodland (8-under) are all in the hunt at TPC Summerlin.

There are 34 players within four shots of the lead heading into the weekend.

World No. 1 Brooks Koepka missed the 5-under cut in his first start of the season. However, his brother, Chase, made the weekend by sitting at 7-under after two rounds. The 1,822nd-ranked player is playing in Las Vegas on a sponsor's exemption.
