Tiger Woods is joining forces with Justin Timberlake, among others, to form a group that pledges to match $6 million in donations for Hurricane Dorian relief in the Bahamas.

Woods announced the One Bahamas Fund partnership with Timberlake and other organizations through Twitter on Thursday.

"It's horrifying to see the videos and hear the stories about the effects of Hurricane Dorian,'' Woods said in a statement, according to ESPN's Bob Harig. "The need in the Bahamas is very real.''

Woods hosts the annual Hero World Challenge in Albany on the island of New Providence in the Bahamas, an area that was not severely impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

Last week, Justin Thomas began a "Birdies for the Bahamas" campaign and encouraged fellow Tour pros to donate $1,000 to hurricane relief for each birdie made during the remainder of 2019.
