As he gears up for the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, Tiger Woods reflected on his 2018 comeback season while keeping his plans for 2019 under wraps.

Woods said the busy finish to his recent schedule on the PGA Tour, which culminated in his 80th career victory at the Tour Championship, took its toll, and it's taken him a while to fully recharge.

"I was not physically prepared to play that much golf at the end of the year," Woods said, according to Bob Harig of ESPN.

"It was just hot. It was hard for me to maintain my strength and my weight through all of that. I was exhausted by the time I got to the Ryder Cup. I was worn out mentally, physically, emotionally."

Excluding the four major championships and the Genesis Open at Riviera, which his foundation runs, Woods hasn't committed to any other tournaments in 2019 as of yet, though Harig noted that Tiger is believed to be considering the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January.

"Now I get started working on my game and getting that organized heading into next year," Woods said. "Haven't really spent a lot of time doing that. I've been working more on getting my body ready to handle the rigors of long practice sessions again and getting back to that."
