For a second straight week Tiger Woods made it interesting, but ultimately fell short of a tour victory, carding a 3-under 69 Sunday to finish tied for fifth at 10-under in the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Woods got within one shot of the lead after draining his sixth birdie of the day on 13, but a pair of bogeys on 16 and 17 spelled the end for Woods. His tee shot on 16 went out of bounds and he missed the green on 17, before finishing with a par on 18.

Tiger was eight shots back of winner Rory McIlroy and posted his second straight top-five finish after finishing tied for second at the Valspar Championship last week.

With his round of 3-under, Woods has now strung together 10 straight rounds of par of better.
