Nelly and Jessica Korda committed this week to represent the United States in golf at the Summer Olympics and will headline an impressive group of women heading to Toyko in August.

Nelly won her first major championship last week and climbed to No. 1 in the world at the age of 22. Jessica, 28, is No. 13 in the world and won the first LPGA Tour event of 2021.

The highly ranked sisters will be joined by Danielle Kang and Lexi Thompson to help Team USA match a South Korean squad with four competitors each - the maximum allowed per country.

Jin Young Ko, Inbee Park, Sei Young Kim, and Hyo Joo Kim, who are all inside the top six in the world rankings, form a stacked South Korean team vying for a second straight gold medal.

Canada will send world No. 7 Brooke Henderson for her second Olympic appearance, along with world No. 136 Alena Sharp.

U.S. Women's Open champion Yuka Saso will make her Olympics debut and will be joined by Bianca Pagdanganan for the Philippines.

Lydia Ko (New Zealand), Nasa Hataoka (Japan), Patty Tavatanakit (Thailand), Minjee Lee (Australia), Hannah Green (Australia), Shanshan Feng (China), Ariya Jutanugarn (Thailand), Sophia Popov (Germany), Mone Inami (Japan), and Carlota Ciganda (Spain) round out the top 20 players in the field.
