Cooley helped off ice after Toropchenko's kneeing major

Utah Mammoth forward Logan Cooley was helped off the ice during the third period of Saturday's game against the St. Louis Blues after a knee-on-knee collision with Alexey Toropchenko.
Toropchenko was given a five-minute major for kneeing and a game misconduct.

Cooley entered the game leading Utah with 23 points in 25 games this season. The 21-year-old, who was drafted third overall in 2022, signed an eight-year, $80-million extension with the Mammoth in October.
Toropchenko's notched two points in 16 games this season. He's recorded 37 hits on the year and ranked 18th in the NHL in that category in 2024-25.
