NHL, Amazon green-light new season of hit 'FACEOFF' series

The NHL and Amazon Prime Video have begun production on a second season of "FACEOFF: Inside the NHL," the league announced Thursday.

The first edition of the popular docuseries aired prior to the start of this season and went behind the scenes with some of the league's biggest names, including Connor McDavid, Matthew Tkachuk, William Nylander, and more.

Season 2 will feature Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, with a cast of additional players to be announced later.

The first season produced numerous memorable moments, including an impassioned speech from McDavid during the Stanley Cup Final that went viral.
