Laila Anderson is now the proud owner of a championship accessory.

St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko and forward Alex Steen personally delivered a Stanley Cup ring to the young superfan, who was a season-long inspiration for the team.

Anderson suffers from hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare disease in which the immune system produces too many active immune cells. She also joined the team on the ice in Boston for the Stanley Cup celebration after the Blues defeated the Bruins in Game 7.

In December, the Blues helped Anderson find a donor for a bone marrow transplant, which she later underwent in January. At that time, the Blues were ranked last in the NHL, but they turned their season around en route to the Cup win, and Anderson's condition started improving around the time the team started winning.
