Shedeur Sanders has a message for NFL teams interested in drafting him.

"If you ain't trying to change the franchise or the culture, don't get me," the quarterback told reporters at the combine Friday, including New York Giants reporter Madelyn Burke.

Sanders' collegiate journey is what gives him confidence in his ability to be a culture-changer. He transformed Jackson State and Colorado into relevant programs alongside his father and head coach, Deion Sanders.

"I've been through six different OCs, so I'm able to adjust to every offense and any scheme and make it work," Sanders said, per SNY. "We went from Jackson State to Colorado and just changed two programs back-to-back. You don't think I can come to an NFL franchise and change the program again? It's history."

He's projected to be one of the top quarterbacks selected, alongside Miami's Cam Ward. The Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and Giants hold the top three picks and are likely to add a new QB this offseason.

"Of course," Sanders said when asked if he believes he's the top quarterback in the draft, according to 9News' Mike Klis. "Now the thing is I respect a lot of quarterbacks here. They put a lot of hard work in to get to this point. So it's kudos to them, it's truly respect, but I know what I bring to the table."

Like many players projected to go early in the draft, the 23-year-old Sanders reportedly won't compete in drills at the combine. Instead, he's focusing on interviews with NFL teams. He'll showcase his talent at Colorado's pro day in March.

The 2025 NFL Draft begins April 24 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
