The Las Vegas Raiders are interviewing former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh about their coaching vacancy next week, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.

Saleh is also one of several candidates set to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars about their open job.

He went 20-36 in three-plus seasons with New York. The Jets fired him in October after a 2-3 start. Saleh never made the playoffs with New York.

The Raiders have also requested to interview Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, among others.

Las Vegas fired Antonio Pierce earlier this week after one full season as the franchise's head coach. Pierce went 4-13 in 2024 after a 5-4 finish last campaign as the Raiders' interim head coach.

Minority team owner Tom Brady reportedly contacted Bill Belichick to gauge his interest in the Raiders job, but the six-time champion head coach apparently has no interest in a return to the NFL after joining North Carolina in December.

The San Francisco 49ers will also reportedly offer Saleh their defensive coordinator job after demoting Nick Sorensen. Saleh was the DC in San Francisco for four seasons from 2017-2020 before taking the Jets job.
