The Philadelphia Eagles ruled out wide receiver DeVonta Smith for Sunday's meeting against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a concussion, the team announced Friday.

Wideout A.J. Brown is questionable after being a limited participant in practice Friday. Brown missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.

Right tackle Lane Johnson is also questionable with a concussion.

Both Smith and Johnson suffered concussions in the Week 3 victory over the New Orleans Saints. The wideout was on the receiving end of a helmet-to-helmet hit by defensive lineman Khristian Boyd, who was fined $4,600 for the incident.

Smith took a bigger role in Brown's absence. His 21 receptions lead the club, while his 239 yards are tied with Dallas Goedert for most on the team.

Philadelphia also placed wideout Britain Covey on injured reserve earlier this week due to a shoulder ailment.
