Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is expected to be sidelined multiple weeks due to a foot injury sustained in Thursday's win over the New York Giants, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

His injury is the second major blow dealt to the Cowboys' defense this week, as Micah Parsons reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain during the victory.

Lawrence had one sack, one tackle for a loss, and one quarterback hit in the prime-time game.

The 32-year-old's three sacks led the Cowboys through three games. Lawrence is coming off of back-to-back Pro Bowl campaigns.

The 2-2 Cowboys play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 and the Detroit Lions in Week 6 before entering a bye week.
