Lamar '120%' certain of return for SNF vs. Browns
Lamar Jackson is ready to make his return in prime time.
Jackson missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday last week, but he appeared set to play after participating in Friday's session.
However, the signal-caller was added back to the injury report on Saturday and was inactive for Sunday's 16-13 victory over the Chicago Bears, with Tyler Huntley stepping in and ultimately leading the game-winning drive.
Jackson, who missed practices in Week 3 and Week 6 after becoming sick, said he's uncertain why he's become more susceptible to illnesses.
"I've been healthy all my life," said Jackson, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. "I've never had a problem being ill at all until I got here. Hopefully, that's done with."
The 24-year-old acknowledged his two bouts of COVID-19, which caused him to miss a game last season and a portion of this past training camp, could have impacted his ability to stay healthy, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
The 7-3 Ravens sit atop the AFC North and occupy the conference's No. 2 seed.
