Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Clelin Ferrell won't play Monday against the Baltimore Ravens despite having no injury designation, the team announced.

Ferrell, the fourth overall pick in 2019, was Mike Mayock's first selection as Raiders general manager. The Clemson product has struggled to meet expectations since entering the NFL, notching only 6.5 sacks and 65 tackles through two seasons.

Las Vegas added to its pass rush this offseason by signing defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, who will start along with Maxx Crosby. Edge rusher Carl Nassib is now expected to be the Raiders' primary backup in Ferrell's absence.

Running back Josh Jacobs, who was questionable for the opener due to an illness, wasn't among Las Vegas' inactives and will be available Monday.

Jacobs, the 24th overall selection in 2019, topped 1,000 rushing yards in each of his first two NFL campaigns. The Pro Bowler also set a career-high with 12 touchdowns on the ground last year.
