Peters still miffed about trade from Rams: 'F--- them'

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters still hasn't forgiven the Los Angeles Rams for trading him during the 2019 season.
"Fuck them. That's how I was feeling, and I'm still feeling like that," Peters said of the Rams on "Catchin' Fades with Aqib Talib."
The Rams traded Peters to the Ravens for linebacker Kenny Young and a fifth-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. Shortly after dealing Peters, L.A. acquired All-Pro corner Jalen Ramsey from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"I felt disrespected in the sense of, 'Yeah, you can trade me' - that's part of the business," Peters said. "But two minutes after that, you bring in another guy who do the same shit I do, maybe a little bit different. And, if we play this compare game, I do a little bit more. That shit was disrespectful to me."
Peters, a former first-team All-Pro, said at the time there were no hard feelings about the deal. But Peters and Ramsey had to be separated and restrained by security and on-field staff after the Ravens dominated the Rams 45-6 on Monday Night Football six weeks after the trade.
Peters, who played alongside Talib with the Rams, said L.A.'s defensive backs were unjustly blamed for the defense's underwhelming play before his departure.
"I don't think we was the problem," said Peters. "I don't think we were the issue that was holding the Rams back from taking the steps of where we needed to get to."
Peters has become a constant in the Ravens' secondary since joining Baltimore and signing a three-year, $42-million contract extension that runs through the 2022 campaign. The 28-year-old produced 52 tackles, nine passes defended, and four interceptions last season.
The Ravens and Rams are set to meet again in 2021 following the announcement of a 17-game regular season.
