Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson suffered a knee sprain in Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Pete Carroll told team reporter John Boyle.

Carroll added that the severity of the running back's injury isn't yet known.

Carson exited after being hurt on a fourth-quarter play in which Cowboys defensive tackle Trysten Hill appeared to twist the running back's leg:

The Seahawks paid a heavy price for the win against Dallas, with safety Jamal Adams (groin), linebacker Jordyn Brooks (knee), and offensive lineman Damien Lewis (ankle) also all exiting the game with injuries.

Carson had 93 rushing yards through the first two weeks. He racked up 64 yards on 14 carries against Dallas before exiting.
