Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph has been ruled out for Week 6 after suffering a concussion against the Baltimore Ravens.

Undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges will get his first career start when the Steelers face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Rudolph was taken to hospital in Week 5 after a helmet-to-helmet hit from Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas left him concussed, though he was discharged the same day. Thomas said he was fined $21,000 for the play.

Rudolph, who took over for an injured Ben Roethlisberger in Week 2, has completed 67% of his passes for 646 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions in four appearances.
