Nick Bosa admitted he spent the San Francisco 49ers' bye week plotting revenge on Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who ignited a rivalry in college.

"I don't usually talk, but in this game he had it coming," Bosa told reporters after helping the 49ers dismantle the Browns 31-3 on Monday Night Football, per SB Nation's Rob Lowder. "But he didn't say one word back."

The beef started two years ago when Mayfield planted an Oklahoma flag at Ohio State after leading the Sooners to a victory over Bosa's Buckeyes.

"I was just screaming his name - 'Baaa-ker, Baaa-ker! You good? C'mon, we want a challenge,'" Bosa said.

The rookie pass-rusher tormented Mayfield all night, finishing the game with five quarterback hits, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. He also mimicked the flag plant after taking down Mayfield on the final play before halftime.

"I don't know how anybody thought he would be able to see over Arik (Armstead) and Buck (DeForest Buckner)," he added, according to Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee. "But he was panicking. He was double-clutching, rolling back and forth. We had him rattled all game."

Mayfield, who completed just 8 of 22 passes for 100 yards with two interceptions, didn't seem bothered by Bosa's gesture when asked about it at the podium postgame.

"I didn't know that until I was informed before I got up here," he said. "Good for him, good play."

Bosa and the 49ers moved to 4-0 with the win, while Mayfield and the Browns dropped to 2-3.
