Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown filed a second grievance against the NFL in another effort to wear the Schutt AiR Advantage helmet, a source told Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.

This time, Brown is reportedly contending he didn't have the same one-year grace period other players had with their outdated helmets because the Schutt AiR Advantage was only banned this year.

Brown's preferred model is banned because it was manufactured more than 10 years ago. The wideout has since found newer versions of the model, but none have passed mandatory safety tests. The NFL's helmet laws are set forth by the National Operating Committee for Standards and Athletic Equipment.

Brown has been in and out of training camp, determined to play with the helmet he's worn throughout his career.

On Sunday, Raiders general manager Mike Mayock said the team had exhausted all avenues related to the helmet. He added that Brown needed to decide whether he would be "all-in or all-out" with the Silver and Black.

The receiver's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, voiced an opposing view Monday morning, saying Brown hadn't yet exhausted all of his options.

Brown was present at the Raiders' walk-through Monday, and is expected to be with the team again Tuesday.

Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler, was traded to Oakland from the Pittsburgh Steelers in March for two draft picks.
