Arizona Cardinals COO Ron Minegar was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving while under the influence.

Police body cam footage of the arrest, which NBC 12 obtained, shows Minegar telling arresting officers he had consumed "three or four" drinks, then denying that by stating he only drank two.

Minegar refused a breathalyzer test and said he couldn't walk in a straight line. He was later cited and released.

In a statement, the Cardinals called Minegar's actions "inexcusable."

"He made the decision to drive after drinking alcohol and is fortunate that he was pulled over before injuring anyone or himself. According to MADD, drunk driving results in almost 11,000 deaths per year and is the number one cause of fatalities on roadways. We fully recognize the seriousness of these actions and they will have serious consequences."
