Cleveland Browns receiver Jarvis Landry doesn't believe Baker Mayfield's recent comments regarding Duke Johnson will hinder team chemistry.

Several players reportedly approached Mayfield in the locker room after the Browns quarterback said he hoped the disgruntled running back, who had voiced his desire to move on from Cleveland, "does his job."

But Landry said Friday the whole ordeal has been blown out of proportion.

"I say to you: it's a non-issue," Landry told reporters, including Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan. "It's not one we're feeling any particular way about. It's blown up from your guys' end more than it really is ...

"My relationship with Duke is always going to be the same."

The players who were reportedly irked by Mayfield inserting himself into another player's business situation hashed out their disagreements with the quarterback, according to NFL Network's Michael Silver.

Cleveland reportedly doesn't plan to honor Johnson's trade request, which stems from a projected lack of playing time behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

The Browns finished the 2018 season with a 7-8-1 record after going 1-31 over the previous two campaigns. They've had an active offseason, acquiring several notable players including Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon, and Sheldon Richardson.
