Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick will likely be ready for offseason workouts, according to The Athletic's Calvin Watkins.

The two-time All-Pro missed the 2018 season after being diagnosed in August with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that weakens muscles and attacks the body's nervous system.

Frederick said he was near full health a month ago, adding that he's optimistic about attending the Cowboys' first offseason workouts in mid-April.

Joe Looney replaced the four-time Pro Bowler after Dallas put Frederick on the injured reserve in early October.

The Cowboys posted a 10-6 record in 2018, and their season ended with a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round.
