The Baltimore Ravens re-signed quarterback Robert Griffin III to a two-year deal, pending a physical, the team announced Thursday.

Baltimore traded former starter Joe Flacco at the beginning of the new league year, leaving Griffin as the primary backup to youngster Lamar Jackson.

Griffin signed with the Ravens in 2018 and appeared in three games, throwing just six passes. The 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year was out of the league in 2017.
