Linebacker Mychal Kendricks rejoined the Seattle Seahawks on Friday ahead of a return to practice next week, head coach Pete Carroll told reporters, via Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.

Kendricks faces up to 25 years in prison for insider trading and is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 24. The NFL initially suspended him indefinitely as a result of his charges and guilty plea, but the punishment was later reduced to eight games.

Kendricks can return to game action in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings. He's recorded two sacks over three games with the Seahawks.
