The Pittsburgh Steelers' season is over, but their franchise quarterback doesn't intend to go anywhere.

Ben Roethlisberger said he's planning to return for the 2018 season after Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round, according to Ron Cook of the Post-Gazette.

The veteran pivot also contemplated his future in 2017 before ultimately opting to return for a 14th season.

"Don't know about contracts and who's coming back. I know the guys up front are, and that's good for me, so I look forward to being back with those guys," Roethlisberger said, according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN.

Roethlisberger continuously said he'd take his future year to year, citing the health concerns that arise with playing football into your late 30s. After fighting through injuries throughout the majority of his career, the two-time Super Bowl winner started 15 games (one healthy scratch in Week 17) this season.
