Bucs were planning limbo TD celebration of their own

The CFL's Ottawa RedBlacks broke out the limbo bar after a touchdown last weekend, and the celebration made waves south of the border, impressing many of their NFL brethren.

But the reaction from one team was disappointment.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had been working on a similar touchdown celebration.

"I saw that video, and I was like, 'Dang, man, I guess that one's gone,'" Buccaneers receiver Adam Humphries told Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.

In Tampa's version, the 195-pound Humphries would have filled the role of the limbo bar. But he conceded the team will have to scrap its plans now that the celebration has been used.

The Bucs were waiting for the right moment to break it out, but they've only scored two touchdowns in the last three weeks - one of which came in garbage time of a blowout loss.

"I wish we were scoring more touchdowns so our players were getting to do it more often," head coach Dirk Koetter said.
