Report: Steelers' Martavis Bryant 'wants out' of Pittsburgh

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant wants to be traded, a source told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

"He wants out," the source told Fowler. "Point blank."

It was reported last week that Bryant requested a trade, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said the wideout didn't want to go anywhere and team president Art Rooney said the Steelers weren't planning to trade him.

Bryant appeared to be upset, though, following Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals, when he criticized fellow receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on Instagram.

"JuJu is (nowhere) near better than me, fool," Bryant wrote in the since-deleted comment. "All they need to do is give me what I want and y'all can have JuJu and whoever else."

Bryant later clarified the comments, praising Smith-Schuster and highlighting how hard he worked to get back from a year-long suspension.

"JuJu is the future and got great talent and is going to be one of the best to play this game," Bryant wrote. "I want him to get his. I just want mines, period, point-blank. Ain't nobody did nothing to get me back. I worked my ass off to get myself back with no help and little support, period. In due time the process will show."

Bryant was targeted only twice Sunday and hauled in one reception for three yards.
