Keep an eye on Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving ahead of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Irving revealed he plans to protest racial inequality and police brutality ahead of Sunday's game, but wouldn't give up any details.

"I have made a call," Irving told Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "You'll just have to wait till Sunday."

Irving clarified that he doesn't intend to "disrespect the flag," a common complaint among those who are vehement opposition to player protests. The Cowboys lineman added that his protest isn't against the flag.

"I hope not since it’s not about the flag in the first place, you know?" Irving said.

Irving noted that his protest - which is against police brutality - also encompasses other ideas.

"It's a lot of things,” Irving said. "I can’t even rant to you about anything specifically, but it’s not just about police brutality. That's a part of the big picture."

We'll have to wait and see what Irving comes up with Sunday.
