Giants' McAdoo calls controversial hit on OBJ 'a tough play for a DB'

New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. was on the receiving end of a scary looking hit Monday night that drew the ire of many from across the nation, but one person that isn't crying foul happens to be Beckham's own head coach.

Beckham was forced from Monday's game after taking a low hit to his left leg from Cleveland Browns defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun, and Twitter immediately exploded with opinions on whether the hit was dirty or clean.

Despite the instant criticism and anger shown by many, Giants bench boss Ben McAdoo isn't spending much time worrying about it, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

Beckham was eventually diagnosed with an ankle sprain, and X-rays later came back negative, meaning the star wideout appears to have avoided disaster.
