The Cleveland Browns signed the first pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, defensive end Myles Garrett, to his rookie contract Friday.

The terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but The MMQB's Albert Breer reports Garrett signed a fully guaranteed four-year deal worth $30.4 million.

A source told Breer the deal includes offset language, or the ability for a team to retain money if the player is released in the fourth year of his contract. Offsets were a point of contention between Joey Bosa, the third overall pick in last year's draft, and the then-San Diego Chargers. He eventually signed after a lengthy holdout.
