Rockies veteran Michael Cuddyer made an early exit from Thursday's series finale with the Padres due to cramping in his left hamstring, the team announced.

The 35-year-old has battled minor injury problems throughout his career, and hasn't appeared in more than 139 games since 2010. Cuddyer, an All-Star in 2013, went hitless in three at-bats Thursday as his batting average dropped to .317 through 16 contests.
