A pair of rookie trading cards featuring Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady are expected to sell for millions at auction this month.

The cards - James' 2003-04 Upper Deck "Exquisite Collection" Exquisite Rookie Patch Autograph and Brady's 2000 Playoff Contenders Signed Championship Ticket Rookie - are being sold as part of Goldin Auctions' April premium card auction. Both are expected to fetch $2.5 million, according to TMZ Sports.

Bidding on James' card has already reached $1 million with 13 days left in the auction, while Brady's has a top bid of $850,000.

A lower-graded version of the same Brady card recently sold for $2.25 million, setting a new record for a football card. A different version of the James card was auctioned off for $1.8 million last year.
