Twitter map shows most of U.S. rooting for Alabama in CFP title game

Alabama is the clear favorite among college football fans heading into Monday night's CFP National Championship game, new Twitter data shows.

Most of the United States - 34 states - is rooting for Alabama to win over Ohio State, according to geotagged Twitter data gathered in the last week by Betonline.ag. Over 120,000 tweets were used to create the map below, including fan hashtags for both teams in every state.

The game kicks off at 8 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
