NBA 2K has come a long way since its first release in 1999, but New Orleans Pelicans forward Josh Hart believes the video game is still lagging behind others in certain areas.

In an interview with Ariana Escalante and Andre Stone of Digital Trends, Hart explained he finds Madden NFL to be more realistic than NBA 2K.

"I don't really play 2K," he said. "It's so unrealistic. I feel like it's so hard for creators to simulate our movement on the court, and I feel like with (a game like) Madden, it's easier. But for basketball, it's totally different.

"Also, my overall isn't that crazy high, and I want to go out and score 40 with myself every time. I don't really get the luxury to do that."

Hart currently has an overall rating of 76 in NBA 2K21.

The 25-year-old is averaging 8.4 points and 8.4 rebounds through nine games this season.
