A Cleveland Indians cap worn by Charlie Sheen as Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn in the movie "Major League" fetched $14,298 in an online auction Friday night.
Lelands.com obtained the cap directly from Sheen along with a baseball used in the scene where Vaughn strikes out Clu Haywood with a 101-mph fastball. The ball sold for $10,742.
Sheen told Page Six's Oli Coleman that he was never able to throw the ball 101 mph on set, but he did reach 84-85 mph.
"I remember my arm being completely wrung out from all of the pitching that I did throughout the movie and that final game sequence that we shot," he said. "That was the last time I was ever able to throw a baseball with that kind of velocity from the mound."
