Every week, we'll be covering the NFL's most significant injuries and look at how they're affecting numbers in the betting market. Here's the outlook for Week 10:

Jacoby Brissett, QB Colts (knee)

Status: Questionable

Brissett's status is up in the air after he suffered an MCL injury last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Veteran Brian Hoyer will stand under center again should Brissett not be able to go Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Fortunately, for the Colts, if there is ever a time when it's fine to be without your starting quarterback, it's against the Dolphins. Miami is banged up in the secondary and last in the league in explosive pass rate allowed. On top of that, Hoyer may be one of the more trustworthy backups in the league. This is a good matchup for anyone who still wants to lay the points - Indianapolis is -11.5 - or play the over at 44.

Patrick Mahomes, QB Chiefs (knee)

Status: Probable

Mahomes is trending toward playing Sunday versus the Tennessee Titans after missing the last two contests. The Chiefs are laying six points on the road, though the total has ticked down a bit from 48.5 to 48 despite the reigning MVP being a full participant in practice this week.

It's generally tough to side with the market when it pushes a Chiefs total down, but I agree in this spot. Kansas City has quietly been great defensively, ranking just outside the top 10 in defensive DVOA despite playing the second-toughest schedule of offenses so far. The play on the under has more to do with the Titans, whose recent box scores don't reflect how average they've been since Ryan Tannehill took over as the starting quarterback.

A.J. Green, WR Bengals (ankle)

Status: Doubtful

Green was believed to be ready to make his season debut Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens before he suffered a setback in practice.

His presence would have been crucial for an offense that ranks No. 29 in the league in both points per game and yards per play. Now, the Bengals are once again shorthanded at wide receiver for rookie quarterback Ryan Finley, who's making his pro debut in place of Andy Dalton.

The spread and total have both experienced movement throughout the week. The Ravens climbed from -10 to -10.5, while the total has dropped from 46.5 to 44.5. There's really nothing to force right now, though the over is the play if the total hits 44. This is still a very potent Ravens offense and the Bengals will likely need to throw virtually all game.
