Patriots fan starts petition for team to bring back Antonio Brown

A New England Patriots fan has started a petition in the hopes of convincing the team to re-sign Antonio Brown.

The Change.org petition calls for team owner Robert Kraft to allow Bill Belichick to bring back Brown on "a conditional basis."

The petition also states the free-agent wide receiver should issue a public apology for his tweet referencing charges Kraft faced in February for soliciting prostitution, and that Brown should ensure "all future actions and social media posts adhere to professional standards."

More than 1,600 people had signed the petition as of Thursday afternoon.

Brown, 31, took to Instagram Live on Wednesday to ask his followers to tell the Patriots to call him, saying, "They still gotta pay me so might as well let me earn it."
