Sir Winston crossed the finish line first to win the 151st edition of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.

Ridden by jockey Joel Rosario, Sir Winston ran the 1 1/2-mile track with a time of 2:28.30. He made a cut to the outside entering the final turn, then took off down the stretch and never looked back.

Betting favorite Tacitus finished as the runner-up in the Triple Crown finale. Though Preakness winner War of Will failed to make the podium, Sir Winston's victory still earns Canadian trainer Mark Casse his second consecutive Triple Crown triumph.
