A coach was caught on camera Saturday putting a colleague in a chokehold during a third-grade football game in Tulsa, Okla.

Russell Barber, who uploaded the video to YouTube, told Samantha Vicent of Tulsa World that schools Bixby Blue and Union Silver were about to resume playing toward the end of the game when the altercation between the Union coaches occurred. They have since been removed as coaches by the Union Youth Football Association.

The coach who initiated the fight said he became upset after his colleague referred to his autistic son as "slow," according to 9News' Taylor Newcomb.

"I asked the offensive coordinator Coach 'A' if he could put some substitutes in and let my son carry the ball," the coach, who asked to remain anonymous, said. "He turned around and he said, 'Your son is slow, and he's not ever gonna run the ball.'"

He added that he wants to apologize to the parents, coaches, and kids.

"I would like to tell them, honestly, that I'm so sorry," he said. "They didn't deserve that. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart."
