Pittsburgh lands 4-star DE Elliot Donald

Four-star pass-rusher Elliot Donald announced his commitment to Pittsburgh on Friday.
Donald, nephew of Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald, is the ninth-ranked defensive end prospect in the 2021 cycle and the No. 80 overall recruit on the ESPN 300.
The native of Reading, Pennsylvania, opted to stay in his home state despite receiving offers from other big-time programs including Ohio State, Michigan, LSU, and Notre Dame.
Donald represents Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi's highest-ranked 2021 recruit to date and first top-300 commit.
The Panthers, who finished 8-5 last season, hadn't landed a top-100 prospect since defensive back Paris Ford in 2017.
