Missouri has found its new coach as the school has reached an agreement to hire Appalachian State's Eliah Drinkwitz, sources told Chris Low of ESPN.

Drinkwitz comes to the SEC after posting an incredible 12-1 record in his lone season with the Mountaineers. Appalachian State captured the Sun Belt title with a 45-38 win over Louisiana at home on Saturday.

The 36-year-old is known for his high-scoring offensive units, with the Mountaineers piling up 38.9 points per game this season. Prior to taking the Sun Belt job, Drinkwitz served as the offensive coordinator at both Boise State and NC State. He was also a quality control coach with Auburn during the Tigers' run to the 2010 national championship.

Drinkwitz fills the role left by the firing of Barry Odom after four seasons with the program.
