It appears Mike Bobo won't be unemployed very long.

The former Colorado State head coach is reportedly heading to South Carolina to serve as Will Muschamp's offensive coordinator barring a "last-minute change of heart," sources told David Cloninger of The Post and Courier.

The South Carolina board is expected to approve a contract for Bobo on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old mutually parted ways with Colorado State this past Wednesday after five seasons as the Rams' head coach, which included appearances in three bowl games in his first three years.

Bobo's familiar with the SEC, as he served as Georgia's offensive coordinator for eight seasons before heading west. While with the Bulldogs, he oversaw the development of quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Aaron Murray.

His work is cut out for him with the Gamecocks, as South Carolina finished the 2019 season ranked 104th in scoring at 22.4 points per contest.
