Every week, we'll go over some betting trends that apply to the college football slate. Here's what's on tap for Week 11:

Louisiana at Coastal Carolina

How about a weekday angle for Thursday when Louisiana visits Coastal Carolina? The Ragin' Cajuns are making huge strides under head coach Billy Napier and are all the way up to No. 37 in the nation in SP+. The program has been scorching-hot for bettors in a couple of departments, including 8-0-1 against the spread in its last nine on the road and 14-3-1 ATS the last 17 overall.

Trend play: Louisiana -14

UMass at Army

Let's not mince words: UMass is having an awful season. The Minutemen are both 1-8 SU and ATS this season, ranking last in the country in total yards, rushing yards, and points allowed per game. But instead of laying the -34.5 with Army for the full contest on Saturday, perhaps consider betting the first-half line. UMass is currently on a 0-10 run ATS in the first half away from home.

Trend play: Army 1H

Florida State at Boston College

Remember when Florida State came out of the gates with three straight shootouts to open the year? High-scoring games involving the Seminoles are a thing of the past. FSU heads into Saturday against Boston College on a perfect 7-0 run to the under, with no game combining for more than 59 points over that span.

Trend play: Under 61.5

Washington State at Cal

Speaking of unders, Cal's been one of the best to play on the total since head coach Justin Wilcox took over in 2017. The Golden Bears have gone under in 12 of the last 13 when they're underdogs and 15 of the last 17 overall.

Trend play: Under 51

USC at Arizona State

USC put up a fight and covered against Notre Dame back in Week 7, losing by three as a 10.5-point underdog. But last week, the Trojans fell flat as 'dogs to Oregon, a common theme under head coach Clay Helton. He enters the weekend on a dreadful 4-13 run ATS when getting points, and faces an Arizona State team fresh off a bye week.

Trend play: Arizona State -2.5

Air Force at New Mexico

It's easy for bettors to be turned off by playing the over in games involving the service academies. The triple-option can be a pain to watch when the clock's constantly moving and the offenses are picking up three yards and a cloud of dust. But Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun has been a sneaky good coach to play overs on, especially in this spot Saturday. The Falcons have cashed 11 of the last 12 on the total when they're road favorites.

Trend play: Over 58.5

Purdue at Northwestern

Northwestern is the worst Power Five offense in the country, and I'm not sure it's close. The Wildcats have scored just 15 points or fewer in five straight and the only game they've posted more this season came in Week 3 against UNLV. The easiest way to play Northwestern games has been the team total under, which is 7-1 this season.

Trend play: Northwestern team total under ~20.5
