Michigan quarterback Dylan McCaffrey was forced from Saturday's game against Wisconsin in the third quarter after taking a hit to the head.
McCaffrey scrambled for a five-yard gain before Badgers freshman safety Reggie Pearson lowered his shoulder and delivered a devastating shot.
Pearson was ejected for targeting on the play.
McCaffrey replaced starter Shea Patterson in the third quarter after the Wolverines were trailing 28-0 at halftime. Patterson reentered the game after the junior went down.
Following the contest, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh told Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports that McCaffrey has been diagnosed with a concussion.
