Tennessee lands 5-star offensive tackle Darnell Wright

Five-star offensive tackle Darnell Wright announced his commitment to Tennessee on National Signing Day.

Wright is the No. 5 overall prospect in the ESPN 300 and the third-ranked offensive tackle in his class.

The Huntington, W.Va., native had official offers from a number of big-time programs, including West Virginia, Alabama, Florida, and Clemson.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound tackle is Tennessee's second five-star commit from the 2019 class, joining No. 9 overall prospect and offensive tackle Wanya Morris. The program has secured four top-100 commitments.
