Kliff Kingsbury has been lauded for his offensive proficiency at the collegiate level and he could soon join one of the NFL's most lethal attacks.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay reached out to Kingsbury last week about an offensive assistant/consultant role, according to Peter Schrager of FOX Sports.

Texas Tech opted not to retain Kingsbury as its head coach and he's reportedly been fielding offers from both NFL and NCAA teams.

Kingsbury is well-regarded for his work with quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech, and served as the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M during Johnny Manziel's Heisman Trophy campaign.

The Rams already rank second in scoring offense this season, averaging 35.4 points per game, and adding another offensive-minded coach would bolster an absurdity of riches on their staff.
